Forts are the Best! and so are dads... :)

I don't think I could tell you enough how blessed I feel with my experience as a mom of Elijah and Malachi.  Everyday I just feel more and more happy with our boys.  They adore all that are perfect for me to adore.  They love to bring me flowers, even if it's a handful of grass; they love robots;

they love cars; they love bonding; they love golf;

and they love forts




And they love all the special people in their life

Today Erik's dad spent his first full day here and it was amazing.  I have never felt such a load lifted from me on a work day before.  I haven't ever had parents that were here to help 24/7 to run whatever errands I needed, and helped me in such a way with the boys.  I guess I have, with our moms... but I had no idea how much I missed my dad.  And then with big Erik here it was so nice to hear a 'my dad' sounding voice help me talk to the boys and back me up when I needed it.  God sent him to help us for a bit and I am super grateful and appreciative of it :)

Because he is here I feel like my own dad is here...

and I am so happy for that :) If you read this big E thank you :) for coming down. I adore my boys... don't get me wrong... but it is heaven spelled frontwards to have what feels like my dad here to help me with our sweet boys with their development ~ man style :)
