in January we started soccer for the boys... well, technically we started like last fall for Elijah, but that barely mattered because he sadly could only make 2 of the practices... WA weather... gotta love it :)
ANYWAYS. so the boys are in the midst of the 2nd little series thing of this Kid's Love Soccer thing. I like it :) they play cute games with the boys... it's not like they play actual soccer games or anything. They simply try to teach the rules, like no hands, and clap for everyone, and play fair for a reason and stuff like that. It's a great thing to get the guys into because it doesn't really teach only the skill of the game *but they do.... they teach why things are the way they are. Because that matters to a preschooler. It matters why a soccer ball can fit on a orange cone. It just fits and it looks like an ice cream cone. And that is surprisingly cool to a 3 year old :) I can personally say I ate (pretend;) 3 baseball ice cream cones tonight in the process of cleaning Elijah's room with Malachi. And that was fun :) especially as I go through and edit my pics from the last few weeks with the fam ;)
