Go Mariners!

Welcome to the baseball!! Our first game of the season and it was such a treat! We were spoiled in the Diamond Club and each tried soft shell crab (after Moore told us it wouldn't kill us) ;) and had the yummiest carrot cake and chocolate covered strawberries and lots and lots of yummy beverages :)

We got to go with fun friends Matt and Kathy Pisut.  We met them through the Issaquah Mom's Group, and it's so nice how we get a long so well and how we have fun whatever we do!

I'm super kissy I guess.  At least I am equal opportunity :)

pretty incredible seats - 6th row behind home plate... :) It was a wonderful way to see Felix Hernandez pitch.  He is connected to us in a way through Norma, our old nanny and now God Mother.  So it was neat to watch him play and see his wife Sandra at the game with his brother and kids.  It's hard not to be so proud of him because he is such a fun and sweet athlete to watch :)  He had an awesome game too! 

I like this shot - you see the ball pretty clearly.  I wish you would've seen how fast the ball went on the speed gun... somewhere close to 90 mph.  It was fun to take pictures with my telephoto lens that Erik got me last Christmas. 

mixed it up a bit with some black and white.  You can see the ball on the right shoulder of the batter. 

well... at least Matt's in focus, right? :) it's like Matt and the Sunshine Band... with his back up singers Kathy, me and Erik :)

Anyways - it was a super fun night - a perfect way to enjoy the Mariners... getting spoiled is always fun! Thanks for the great time Matt & Kathy! xoxo! :)
