My Birthday Playdate with my favorite little buddies :)

Gosh I feel old. (I know, I'm not old, and I don't look old... but relatively, I feel old :)

It's my 34th birthday this week... Erik asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday, and we did a perfect thing in my opinion :) a few friends and family (extremely local family... like a 2 mile vicinity  of where we were) went to a park and just had a play date with the kids. FUN!

Mary whipped us up some FANTASTIC cupcakes (ask Bella, Malachi & Nevaeh - I think they each had FOUR!)

Tony & Stephanie brought little Sadie Belle who's getting so big :)

I was so happily surprised to see Heather and her sweet friend Cheryl ...

and of course Mary and her crew

Angie brought Kiera.

It was small, easy to visit - and perfect :) I was able to even go around a bit and take pics which is a present to myself because I love it so much :) Like Anny said on Friday it feeds my soul.

ANYWAYS - the point of this story... is that Bo is the coolest little kid.

I love him so darn much! He loves to paint his nails... typically black, but sometimes green, or purple or something. I'm not sure when and where it first started... but it's just him :) He was really great at the party as he had 25 tattoos all over himself - the only 5 year old I have ever seen with a tattoo sleeve...

such an individual! Our boys love their cousin Bo as well. He is without a doubt Elijah's best little friend (as far as I know anyways...) and Malachi thinks he is like a God :) ha!! :) so tonight they told me and Erik at dinner that they want to paint their nails... thanks Mae. ;)

All in all it was a perfect little park celebration, it started to POUR as we were leaving... we were happy to even get the 3 or so hours of sunshine when it came as it hasn't been sunny lately at all...

we've sort of been robbed of our typical seasons lately.  Oh well :) maybe we'll have to make up new seasons - like spring all year long, for us in the Pacific NW.
